Quarter, where you can find the most unusual buildings in Barcelona by the best Catalan architects, including the famous Gaudi.

Block of Discord (Illa de la Discòrdia) is located in the Eixample district. It is best known for its unusual architecture - there are unusual buildings here, built by Gaudi, Lluis Domenech Montaner, Enric Sagnier.

The most interesting are two buildings - Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Casa Batllo was built for Josep Batlló and resembles a wave, that suddenly decided to go through the base of the building.

Especially popular is La Pedrera by Gaudí. It recalls a cave, that was suddenly appeared in the centre of Barcelona, with little windows and carved doors.
