After the terrorist attack on September 11th, in order to break prejudices and reconcile hostile of different cultures and religions, the Jumeirah Mosque opened the doors for all those who wished to visit it. Come inside to learn more about the origin of the religion of Muslims, about their culture and traditions, and also to take a look at the architectural masterpiece from inside.
How to do?
2. It is allowed to enter the mosque only in the presence of the guide of the Sheikh Mohammed center. So, book an excursion in advance on the official website.
3. Closed clothing are preferred, for women a handkerchief or abaya is required (they are given at the entrance after buying a ticket).
4. Before entering, take off your shoes and go through the ritual of purifying with water. Start with washing your right hand (3 times), nose (3 times), face (3 times). Then your left hand (3 times), head, ears and, finally, right and left legs (3 times) .\n\n Children under 5 years old are not allowed to enter.
