Burj Khalifa is a combination of amazing architectural innovations, beautiful forms created on the basis of traditions. The height of the Burj Khalifa is 828 meters, higher than Taipei 101 (512 meters) or the Empire State Building (381 meters). However, the tower is not only the highest in the world, but also a multiple world record holder in other achievements.
Burj Khalifa records
• the largest number of floors in the world;
• the highest external viewing platform;
• the highest service elevator in the world;
• the longest spire - 180 meters;
• the highest-up restaurant;
• the highest observation deck.

Creation History
Initially, the creators planned to build the tallest building in the history of skyscrapers, so the height of the Burj Khalifa was kept in the strictest secrecy. If somewhere in the world there was any construction project superior to the Dubai Tower, the Burj Khalifa project would be amended in order to surpass the "competitors".
The project was developed by the American architectural bureau Skidmore, which has been designing skyscrapers all over the world for 80 years. The author of the project - Adrian Smith stated that the Burj Khalifa will become the brightest flower of the Arabian desert. Even the base of the building got its shape due to the hymenocallis - a white flower with long petals diverging from the center to the sides.

The construction of the skyscraper lasted only for six years. More than 100,000 tons of concrete were used, capable of withstanding high temperatures up to 50 ° (specifically for the construction of the Burj Khalifa it was necessary to invent such concrete, and also an innovative method of its laying - with addition of ice). Also, builders used more than 60,000 tons of steel reinforcement and 40,000 tons of aluminum structures.
The asymmetric form of the structure was not invented by accident - so the building is able to withstand strong winds and swing from side to side less. Special windows do not allow dust to pass and reflect the rays of the sun to prevent the heating of the rooms. The total surface of the windows is comparable to 20 football fields. Specially for them, swashing machines were designed, which are served by 50 people every day.
Inside the tower, the air conditioning system does not stop working for a minute - it maintains a comfortable 22 ° in the building and fills the premises with a patented aroma designed specifically for the Burj Khalifa. For the tower, even a special automatic condensate collection system for watering plants has been developed, because as a rule irrigation systems in skyscrapers are filled with rainwater, but in the Arabian desert, rain is a rarity.
How many floors are there in Burj Khalifa
1-39 floors are occupied by office buildings and Armani hotel (except for technical 17th and 18th). By the name of the hotel, you can easily guess the name of the designer who created the project of the hotel. Luxury and gloss are felt here in every detail.
