How to listen to organ music in the Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavik
Hallgrímskirkja church, adorning the center of Reykjavík with its beauty and magnificence, is famous not only for its stunning architecture, but also for delightful organ music.

The local organ was created especially for Hallgrímskirkja by the talented German organ builder, Johannes Klais. The instrument has more than 5000 tubes, is up to 15 meters high, and weighs 25 tons!

However, the colossal dimensions are not the only thing that this musical instrument strikes you with. The main thing here is the beautiful music, the clear sounds of which float to the high church arches and melt the hearts of even most indifferent listeners.
