If you want to buy unusual souvenirs, and at the same time learn everything possible about beekeeping, you need to come to the village of Pastida, which is located on the west coast of Rhodes, at the foot of the mountain Filerimos.
There is the Museum of bees here, where guides will tell you about how to get the honey, the characters of the bees, as well as show how bees behave in their natural habitat. You can see them in a transparent hive, where the bees feel very at ease.
How to do?
1. Take a bus RODA from Rhodes to Pastida village, then take taxi from there or walk about 15-20 min.
2. Buy cosmetics made of honey, sweets and even toys in a local souvenir shop.
