How to see the famous fresco by Leonardo da Vinci "Last Supper" in Milan
The Last Supper is the famous fresco located in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. It depicts the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples. The mural is interesting by the fact that Leonardo used a technique of applying the paint dry and not wet, as was the custom at the time. Thus, he could change the parts of the picture that with the wet application would be impossible. Due to the fragility of fresco was not transferred to a museum, and it is now in the place where Leonardo da Vinci worked on it.

Now everyone can see the fresco, the church doors are open every day except Monday. Book tickets on website, but remember that you can only go in there with a group, and tickets are selling out in a few weeks.

Another way to buy a ticket - to come to the church and go to any guide who led the group on a tour. Do not hesitate to ask if he had an extra ticket - sometimes guides sell them even cheaper than at the box office.

After buying a ticket online you need to arrive 20 minutes prior to the scheduled tour to exchange electronic voucher for a real ticket at the box office. To do this, you need to print the electronic voucher and passport.

After an exchange of ticket you have to wait for your group and go to the mural. The session lasts 15 minutes. Taking photographs is strictly forbidden, but you can try to make a few photos, just turn off the flash and the sound of camera.
