The deepest metro station in the world is located in Kiev.
The Arsenalna metro station was built in 1960 and till nowadays remains the deepest in the world. Descent to the platforms is carried out using a two-march escalator separated by a small hall. Inside everything is lined with marble of several colors and on platforms it is always windy from fast moving subway trains.
How to do?
1. It will be most interesting to come down from above, so go to Arsenalna Square.
2. Buy a jetton, go through the turnstile and you'll see the first escalator. It is not very long, you will quickly find yourself in an oval room where musicians often play violin or accordion, as there is an amazing acoustics in this place.
