adventure's step-by-steprecipes & lifehacks
The story of this sport is very entertaining. In the 1960-s, the military used some elements of modern parasailing for training in order to save the budget. A businessman from England, who watched the training, thought it could earn him good money and created a small parasailing club.
After the very first test flight, daredevils saw the true value of the new entertainment. Since then, the number of parasailing enthusiasts is growing. So if you are afraid of parachute jumping for whatever reason, this sport is just perfect for you.
The flight itself is as follows: a 100-meter cable is attached to one side of a yacht or boat, and the other to the parachute with the future parasailer. The cable is released slowly and you rocket up high, watching the incredible beauty of the surroundings from a bird's flight.
To experience maximum drive without any safety concerns, one should observe a number of rules: fly only in sunny low-wind weather; yacht speed should not exceed 60 km/h. Persons with height intolerance, underweight persons and minors (under 18 years old) should not try this sport. In addition, before the flight one must undergo briefing. Never try any experiments while in the air.
