On December 29, the Day of Saint Nicholas, the main festive Christmas tree lights up its garlands and at the same time the Christmas Market begins.
Christmas Market on the square in front of the Opera House in Lviv, is also called "Christmas under one roof," it calls people from different parts of the world to unite on this joyful holiday.
How to do?
1. Go right on the Svobody Avenue, market is placed near the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theater.
2. There are dozens of picturesque wooden houses with various souvenirs: glass, wood, metal, pysanka, vyshyvanka, various confectionery and tents with street food.
3. Buy authentic souvenirs, try the local honey, mulled wine and chocolate, learn how to paint pysanka
and make yourself a necklaces in the Ukrainian style.
