36 things to doin Florence
Here, in the center of Florence, in front of the Palazzo Vecchio, the masterpieces of famous Italian sculptors are placed.
Piazza della Signoria, Florence
Piazza della Signoria is located next to the Palazzo Vecchio which entrance is decorated with "David" by Michelangelo. Unfortunately, the original sculpture was replaced by a copy in 1873, and most other sculptures on the square were replaced too. The only original left here is "Perseus with the Head of Medusa" Cellini.

Above the fountain on the square towers the majestic statue of Neptune, created by Bartolomeo Ammanati.
