How to ascend the CN Tower in Toronto
The Toronto concrete communications and observation tower can be seen from any place in the city. No wonder, it was the tallest building in the world until 2007. Its height is 553, 33 meters. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations - it is visited annually by 2 million people.

They use high-speed elevators, from which you can feel your ears popping at the difference in air pressure, in order to bring visitors to any deck. Binoculars on observation decks, restaurant windows, glass floor or walking along the outdoor terrace with a cable - choose your way of getting to know the city.

How to do?

1. The CN Tower is located at 301 Front Street West, between the Rogers Center and Metro Toronto Convention buildings. For those who want to get to the observation platforms, the entrance is in the southern part of the tower, near the Bremner Boulevard.

2. Buy a ticket on the official website of the CN Tower or on the spot. It is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.

You can look at the city from above in several ways:

• from one of the two observation decks - Sky Pod (447 meters), LookOut Level (346 meters)
• through the glass floor at an altitude of 342 meters.
• through the panoramic windows of a cafe or one of the two restaurants on the tower - there is a separate lift for it, so you do not have to stand in queue.
• by hanging over the abyss at the adge of the outdoor platform.

When to do?

Access to the observation decks is open from 8:30 to 22:30.

How much?

Ascending to the observation platform at an altitude of 447 meters costs CAN $12 for people of all ages. There are more expensive tickets, the cost of which covers walking along the outdoor terrace and visiting other observation decks.

Tips and hints

Come here before 11:00 or after 18:00, when it's not very crowded.

Every evening, the tower is illuminated with a color lighting. Each color corresponds to a certain holiday. Combined with the lights of the city, it looks fascinating. If you want to see it, come here in the evening.
