How to get on the top of the Temple of the Golden Mount in Bangkok
Those, who seek peace and calm of the old town, or wish to take rest of the motley and noisy crowds, should visit Wat Saket – the Temple of the Golden Mount, a kingdom of peace right in the heart of Bangkok.

The colossal man-made hill resembles a fairy tale castle on top of which Wat Saket sits in a regal manner. A winding path will take you all the way up to the "golden" top. There you will see charming waterfalls and wonderful statues. And if you come across huge bells – don't be too lazy to call them for good luck.

You shouldn’t worry about getting tired and out of breath when climbing the hill. Your breath will be taken away only by the beautiful view of Bangkok from the top of the hill. The slope is quite gentle and this fascinating journey of 300 steps will not exhaust you, it will only serve as a good warm-up!
