On the territory of the national park are five villages: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. You can reach each of them by foot, they are located very close to each other. Movement of vehicles is prohibited here, the only parking is in Monterosso.
Most of the temples, palaces and cathedrals here were built in the Middle Ages, but you can find buildings from Roman times.
This is a fabulous place, which, as it seems, can exist only on the bright postcards and photos in the guidebooks. However, the spectacle that is opened up before the eyes of the travelers when they arrive in the Cinque Terre can not be compared with any picture.
