On the beach, in the quiet bay of the island Sedir, Cleopatra used to sunbathe itself. According to legend, Marcus Aurelius, for her convenience, lined the beach with special sand from Tunisia - smooth and hollow inside.

Today, all visitors are asked to wash the sand off the body after beaching in order do not to waste it.

How to do?

1. At the 12th kilometer of the Marmaris-Mugla route, turn left. Then, after 6 km. you will reach the coast of Gekova. Here you may take a voyage boat from the pier Chamlyk on the coast to reach the island of Sedir.
2. Take a sunscreen, towel, snack, water, as well as safety shoes for swimming - you may stumble upon a sea urchin near sea stones.
