Helping orphans is arguably the most important pursuit in one’s life. To hear a happy child laugh is the highest possible reward!
How to help orphans in Phuket
The Phuket orphanage is not an ordinary home for orphans. Point is, the wards of this center do have a home, but their family environment is underprivileged. Their parents are either divorced or imprisoned, and some of them even force their kids to pursue abusive careers, inappropriate for children. Some children are reduced to begging in the street.

At the center, kids stay under the custody of three guardians daily from 08:00 to 18:00. There are around 50 children here, aged between two and eight. The state does not support the center, so the facility survives thanks to donations and mere human help. Volunteers are more than welcome here. There’s lots to keep them busy here by looking after the children and cooking meals for them.

Where to do?
