The pub was opened in 2009 in one of the abandoned buildings of the Jewish quarter. The first thing you notice when you get here is the abundance of glued and painted snow-white smiles: on a signboard, bar counter, walls. This is a reference to the stomatology which had been once on the spot of the pub. Even the name Fogashaz is translated as a "house of teeth".
Fogashaz can not be called a standard ruin-pub. This is rather an art-space – the parties, exhibitions of contemporary artists, performances, movie nights and festivals.
How to do?
2. The pub includes two floors and a garden on the street. You will see the painted walls, many old furniture, figures hung and on pedestals. In the evening it is better to occupy a table in the garden among the trees covered with garlands.
Where to do?
One of several pubs, created inside abandoned houses of the Jewish quarter. Now there is an art space in the kitsch style.
10Open hours: From Monday till Sunday 18:00 to 4:00.
