Climb on the top of the 200-meter high mountain, where you will find the Statue of Liberty and can see the Budapest to the smallest detail.
How to climb on the Gellert Hill in Budapest
You can get to the Gellert hill by tram #18,19 from the Erzsebet bridge. From the same bridge to the mountain lead many paths, the climb takes about 30 minutes.

On top of the Gellert Hill, you will see the majestic Statue of Liberty, established here in 1947 to commemorate the liberation of Hungary from the Nazis. From here you will have beautiful panoramic views of the city. Near the statue is the Citadel, built by the Habsburgs in the 19th century. Now here are the Military Museum and several restaurants.
