At the top of a 240-meter hill saint monastery is located, where many people come to perform a ritual that helps to get rid of incurable diseases.
Between the cities of Rhodes and Lindos the village of Archangelos lies, where church of Kato Tsambika and Moni Tsambika monastery are located.
You can find an icon of the Virgin Tsambika here. It was stolen a few times and someone turned it to Cyprus (homeland), but the icon miraculously returned to the monastery.
Every year hundreds and hundreds of pilgrims come here from all over the world. It is believed that the Virgin Tsambika helps to get rid of infertility and treat children.
