How to try brigadeiro dessert in Rio de Janeiro
Brigadeiro is a chocolate truffle in a chocolate crumb, though there are other variations of decoration. They make this delicacy from high quality condensed milk, butter and cocoa.

This simple dessert has its own history. It was invented in the ‘40s in honor of one of the presidential candidates Brigadeyoru Eduardo Gomes. He ordered a consignment of chocolate sweets to treat voters to in one of the receptions, hoping to win popularity among people. Eduardo Gomes did not become President, but thanks to him a wonderful dessert is still popular in Brazil.

You can try these chocolate balls at any confectionery.
