The most unusual kind of jamon is Iberico, it is obtained from a special breed of Iberian black pigs, which were fed with acorns of stone oak. An exclusive variant is the bayonet hamon, every leg of this jamon has a serial number and even a passport.
How to do?
2. The seller will tell you the story of the appearance of jamon and give you to taste all of its varieties.
3. Order a tasting set of several kinds of jamon and a jar of cold beer, as local Spaniards often do.
4. Be sure to buy a favorite jamon - this will be those "impressions" that you bring from the museum home.
