The building of the Pinacotheca houses the largest number of works of Italian and Byzantine artists in the world.

The Pinacotheca in fact is the art exposition, which haven't had its own building for a long time. Napoleon took paintings and sculptures to Paris, then they returned to Vatican, spent a long time in the chambers of pope, moved to the Belvedere Palace and only at the end of 1932 they found a new building where they are located today.

2. Buy a ticket at the box office on the first floor.
3. Go through all the 18 halls and look at the works of Giotto, Titian and other famous artists of different epochs.
