Well-known Baradello Castle

Well-known Baradello Castle is a 35-meter square tower. The Bardello Castle is situated on the hill and it is the highest in Como town. On the top of the hill you can admire the view of the lake, the Po river valley, Como town, the Apennines and the Alps.

The Basilica of Saint Carpophorus

The Basilica of Saint Carpophorus is an old Christian construction where there are unique frescos of the Middle Ages and also pictures of Italian painters Cerano and Recco. It is one of the most ancient construction of Como where differnt architectural styles are combined.

The Duomo di Como is a precious decoration of lake Como coast where there is a pulpit of a local bishop. It is one of the most important religious constructions of Lombardic region dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God and called Santa Maria Assunta.

Funicolare Como-Brunate

Funicolare is a place of interest of the resort town that connects the Caspar square of Como town and scenic village of Brunate. At a half an hour interval the funicular will take passengers to the viewing deck in 7 minutes. Here you can admire breathtaking view of the town, Como lake and the Alps.
