Take an exciting ride on a 5-tonne elephant in a big zoo-kind park where animals walk slowly and lazily in their natural habitat.
Bali safari and Marine Park is called a huge zoo with animals living in their usual habitat. There are no cages here and animals are not held in a leash. And just right here you can take an elephant ride.
How to do?
1. Safari park is situated in tropical jungles. Pay $20 and a taxi will take you here from any hotel. From the airport, it's a 45-minute drive.
2. Buy a ticket that includes an elephant ride. Tickets are different with different services, read attentively what each ticket price includes.
3. Before riding you can watch elephant performance and walk around safari park.
Hippopotamus, zebras, elephants, white tigers, 40 kinds of exotic fish, theatre amusement park, aqua park - all this you'll find in one wonderful place.
Any day you wish, the park is open all week round and through the holidays from 9.00 till 17.00.
How much?
In the park different tickets are offered: one includes all the activities, other - just a few. So the price varies. Buy the ticket that includes elephant riding (whether 10 minutes or 30 minute) and lunch. The price is from 1.125.000 to 1.890.000 Indonesian rupiahs.
Tips and hints
Don't forget to take a camera with you. Ask somebody to take a picture of you just right at the moment when you on an elephant. Otherwise as soon as the animal starts going you'll have nobody to ask for photos, so only selfies.
