The observation deck of the castle offers great view of the Julian Alps and Lake Bled.
The Bled Castle is more than 1000 years old, the most ancient part of it is the Roman tower. It used to be a living place and a place to watch the territory around.

How to do?
1. Bled Castle is located 56 kilometers from Ljubljana. Go north west along E61 highway. There is a parking lot at the castle - next to it you'll see a cobbled path to the castle gate.

2. On the territory of the fortress you can also visit a museum, pop into a winery and take beautiful pics on the observation deck wiht Lake Bled and the Julian Alps in the background.

Where to do?
Bled Castle
One of the oldest castles in Slovenia is placed at the height of 135 meters. The observation deck on the territory offers fabulous view of Lake Bled.

The castle is open for visitors all year round:
June-August from 8am till 9pm;
in April, May, September, October from 8am till 8pm;
January-March, November, December from 8am - 6pm.

How much?
Entrance ticket for adults - €10, for students - €7, for children under 14 - €5.
