Lac Rose

Pink lake, also known as Lake Retba, is located 30 kilometers from the capital city. Cyanobacteria that live in the lake colour the water pink. Take an excursion bus or rent a car to get to the lake.

Foret de Bandia

The reserve with a 1000-year-old baobab and animals in their natural habitat is placed 65 kilometers eastward from Dakar. You can visit it daily from 9am till 6pm.
