In the lagoon on the south-west coast, the islanders created a large outdoor lagoonarium - a part off the ocean separeted by a net in order to preserve the natural habitat for marine animals.
In the Lagoonarium, you can swim with stingrays without worries for your life - they are friendly, and they themselves come to get acquainted. Snorkeling among the tropical fish shoals, diving to coral reefs and even feeding reef sharks by your hands.

How to do?
1. Bora Bora is only 9 kilometers longwise - you can easily cross the island on foot. The Lagoonarium is on the south-west coast of the island, near the Le Meridien Resort Hotel.
2. Instructors here work from 8 am till 3:30 pm every day except for Saturday. They will provide you with a mask and snorkel tube, make a brief on how to hug a stingray and not get stung. Instructors will also allow you to feed reef sharks at noon.
3. In addition, you can go canoeing around the island and see all the lagoons, visit the coral park and go on a picnic.
