How to walk through the rose garden in the city park in Madrid
The southern part of the West Park (Parque del Oeste) in Madrid is the most fragrant, there is a huge rosary named after Ramon Ortiz.

Annually, the rosary is replenished with new types of flowers, which are evaluated at the International Competition. You can freely come here during the competition and take a walk through the vast territory of the park.

How to do?

1. Find out when the rose garden needs to be replenished with new types of flowers for the contest (usually in May). Come early, when the aroma of roses is particularly palpable.
2. Go to the hanging road in the West Park, which will take you to the rose garden (€5 one way ticket).
