adventure's step-by-steprecipes & lifehacks
The first area is called Rambla de Canaletes because of the fountain, from which, as legend says, you can drink the water and you will certainly return to Barcelona.
Then move to the next area - Rambla dels Estudis. Here was located the university, and now here is a market and you can visit the Church of Our Lady of Bethlehem (Iglesia de Belén).
The name of the next area is Rambla de les Flors. Here is located the flower market, and you can see the Virreina Palace (Palacio de la Virreina).
Visit the La Boqueria market (Mercat de la Boqueria), buy here a Spanish yummy and then go to the area Rambla dels Caputxins - here you will see the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Near the sea you will find the last area of the boulevard - Rambla de Santa Mònica. You need just to cross it - and you will appear near the Columbus monument inside of which is an elevator to the observation deck.
During a walk along the boulevard do not forget to visit the souvenir and antique shops - you can buy some interesting magnets in remembrance of Barcelona :)
Where to do?
The main pedestrian street of the city, a kind of Mecca for travellers who want to feel the rhythm of the city and see the life of locals.
