An unusual construction, named «Perlan», will strike you not only with its appearance, but also with a magnificent panoramic view of the city.
How to see Reykjavík panorama in Reykjavik
«Perlan», which is translated as «the Pearl», is one of the most unusual and amazing buildings in Reykjavík. This fabulous construction is made of huge hot water storage tanks, with a blue glass dome towering over.

You can find lots of entertainments and souvenir shops in Perlan. Under the very dome of the building, there's a revolving restaurant, where the delight of a 360º panorama of Reykjavík will complement nicely a delicious dinner. In addition, you can visit an authentic wax sculpture museum, located in one of the former hot water storage tanks.

Tips and hints
