How to have dinner in a restaurant under the dome in Reykjavik
The Perlan building looks like a huge intergalactic spaceship, «landed» by a stroke of luck in the astonishingly beautiful surroundings. Here, from the top of the hill, a magnificent panoramic view on Reykjavík is open. Visitors can admire the cozy low white houses with red roofs, the blue bay and the distant mountainous landscape. This is exactly why the idea of placing a restaurant right at the top of Perlan proved to be a total success!

The restaurant is located under a transparent glass dome, built over several huge hot water storage tanks, which constitute Perlan itself, actually. The floor of the location is revolving slowly, so the visitors can enjoy a 360º panoramic view of the city without diverting from the ordered dishes.

By the way, they serve delicious cuisine here. The most beneficial time to visit the restaurant are at sunset and evening hours. The spacious location with the transparent dome makes you feel almost like sitting in the outer space!
